College Board announced that it is discontinuing SAT Subect Tests after June 2021. It is also discontinuing SAT Essay after June 2021. After June, the Essay will only be given in states where it’s required for SAT School Day administrations for accountability purposes. It is also changing the SAT from paper format to digital, online format.

Get ready for a whole new SAT! 

 ACT Inc. announced on October 8, 2019 that starting from September 2020 test date there will be changes to the ACT test. Students can do Section Retesting instead of retaking the whole test again with all the five sections. Section Retesting allows students to take one or more of the sections of the test in each sitting. Second, students will be given the option for Superscoring the test score. Superscoring is rescoring of the composite score by taking the maximum score among the individual section scores across multiple ACT tests and Section Retests that the student took. Finally, ACT test will be offered in online digital format also, inaddition to the paper format. Online test results will be released within two business days after the testing date.
